KOICHIRO AZUMA

Born in Tokyo in 1998. Artist. Ph.D. (Fine Arts). Completed the Doctoral Program in the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2023, established Azuma Kobo Co. Ltd. (a metal processing factory).From 2025, serves as an Assistant Professor in Tsukuba Institute for Advanced Research (TIAR) and Institute of Art and Design, University of Tsukuba. He creates primarily kinetic three-dimensional artworks by combining junk items such as bicycles collected from local residents with metal.
